With the Americans rapidly advancing and even the British making headway in their attacks, the Wehrmacht's 7th Army was in danger of being cut off and destroyed. Most of 7th Army's formations, 2nd Panzer included, were soon to be trapped in the Falaise Pocket. As the German forces around them began to break apart, 2nd Panzer attempted a breakout to the east.
Objectives: 2nd Panzer has been broken down into component groups, and is to break out to the southeast. Your platoon must make its way to the objective, it is the only hope of survival. The enemy's air presence is formidable, and there is a bottleneck at St. Lambert, where you must cross the river to reach the objective farther east. St. Lambert is occupied by the enemy and you will have to fight your way through to the bridge. Once you have crossed the bridge, move east to the objective.
